This recipe makes 8 servings.
Ingredients:
Yams, raw 32 oz
Olive Oil 2 tbsp(s)
Chili Powder 1 tbsp(s)
Cinnamon 1 tbsp(s)
Black Pepper 1/2 tsp(s)
Salt 1 tsp(s)
Stevia 2 tsp(s)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400*.
Place spices, stevia, salt, and pepper into a medium large bowl and mix well. Set aside.
Peel Yams and slice into french fry shapes. In a large bowl mix yam fries with oil to coat. Place oiled fries into the bowl with spices. Close the lid and shake until yam fries are coated with spices.
Place coated, spiced fries onto Pam-sprayed flat broiler pan or cookie sheet and bake in oven for about 10 minutes or until brown on the bottom. Turn. Continue baking about another 5 minutes or until outsides are crisp and insides are
soft. Serve warm.
